About BluViraBluVira Exports is a merchant exporter in Kotagiri, the Nilgiris. Our core lines are Nilgiri tea, hill vegetables, and pepper and cardamom, with rice, herbs and essential oils supplied on request — bought at origin and shipped to your specification.
The Nilgiris grow some of India’s finest tea, alongside spices, cool-climate vegetables and eucalyptus. Much of it leaves the hills through several middlemen before it reaches an overseas buyer.
We set up BluVira in Kotagiri in 2026 to shorten that chain: one accountable partner at origin who knows the growers, checks every lot, and handles the paperwork for export.
A small team, so you deal directly with the two partners who run the business.
Has traded Nilgiri tea since the late 1990s and knows most of the estate owners in the hills. Buys tea direct from Nilgiri estates, at the Coonoor auction and from bought-leaf factories, and sources vegetables and spices from farmers and markets around the Nilgiris; checks every lot against the approved sample, and develops our tea blends.
Looks after packing and labelling, export paperwork and registrations, and day-to-day contact with buyers, from first enquiry to delivered order.
